I am steadfastly committed to a productive clinical research career and the development of innovative interventions to treat multiple health behavior risks. More specifically, by targeting smoking, alcohol misuse, unhealthy diet and sedentary lifestyles, the most prominent lifestyle risk factors for cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes and some cancers, my goal is to help elucidate the science of multiple health behavior change while promoting health, wellness and disease prevention.

I have been in the lab since its inception in July 2015. My long-term research interests fall broadly under clinical and health psychology as well as contemplative studies. More specifically, my goal is to study mindfulness-based psychotherapies, their efficacy on anxiety, depression and trauma-related disorders as well as their associated neural correlates.
